Indeed they do. I scanned a 747 pound patient years ago. We were basically the only diagnostic imaging modality that could be done on him. Too big for CT, x-ray, MR. Couldn’t put him ion a table to cath him either. Pretty much just wait for him to die or get better because outside of labs and vitals, there was nothing that could be revealed using imaging.

I believe it, I work in a nursing in East Texas, and I’ve had to help 500 lb people attempt to stand up and walk.
