LSU was left out once with an RPI around 22. Didn't make the SEC Tournament by a tiebreaker I think, which led the SEC to expand the tournament to more teams. I think that was back when it was 8 teams.

Yeah, LSU in 2011. We went 13-17 SEC.
It was a total screw job…. We should NOT have been left out that year.
