Everyone complaining about NIL - same people that have no money

Where does this money come from? You same whiners whose lives revolve around football but don’t have enough to chip in an extra 10k to boost our NIL have no ability to complain.
Guess what, all these schools that outbid us, have way more earning potential than us. In LA, the same 2m house in BR would be 5 million. Basic economics.
Get your money up, not your funny up
Update - this is why we aren’t even a top 100 school. You realize rankings = endowment? And endowment equals number of donors with liquid capital with the ability to sink money into frivolous things like college football. We have very few $$$ donors vs these other NIL schools that churn out earners and are willing to pay. LSU, everytime we need some money we go to a personal injury attorney. This thread just shows how many people here have never been outside of LA. Good gracious.

Baw while you are right, it is basic economics, you gave a horrible example. The Cali to BR example contraindicates your point. All you’re showing is a massive cost of living disparity, which means we should be able to give more than them…

Okay we have.
You’re probably the one that says put up or shut up and hasn’t put a dime in.

You’re an idiot if you give any money at all.
It’s a freaking sport. Good luck with giving your 10k so a guy can come here and lsu…… not you….. can win a championship. I like watching football but I can spend 10k on something better. Yes it’s your money… I understand that but what do you actually get out of it…… a championship football or Hirt that you have to spend money on also. This stuff is so overblown.

Let me guess, you never played and have never been in a locker room as a player. More to what is going on than just the $$.

I will never give me no matter how much I made. It’s kids playing a sport. Hell with that

So many words and so much wrong. Nice incoherent word salad of utter BS.

Don’t pay to worry about any of it until they get the revenue sharing squared away. Until then, it’ll be the Wild West.

Personal choice. That's the primary answer to "where does this money come from". Hard to fathom I know but the truth nonetheless. Some people CHOOSE to contribute to NIL funds with THEIR money. Some CHOOSE not to. No matter the reasons for or against its still personal choice. The same personal choice that we all have when also choosing to "whine" or not. Who made you(or anyone else) the authority to suggest how, where and when others choose to spend their money? Or to complain. That right you exercised in voicing your strongly opinionated stance is the same we have to complain, whine and choose where to spend our money. When did what you contribute begin to determine when, where, how or if you can voice your displeasure? Would you apply the same standard to those that only opine positively?

Go check out the ranking of the K-12 education system in LA. Now attribute that to LSUs. For some reason I believe they may go hand in hand somewhere along the line. Education just doesn't seem to be a high priority in LA. If it were, why hasn't it improved in my lifetime(47 years)? "Get your money up, not your funny up" seems to apply here as well. Until you do, stop whining.
As for endowments and rankings(educational I assume), you pointed out the problem. $=quality of education according to you. You seem to be flush with $, now apply the education it afforded you to figure out the issue with that.

I buy season tickets, I travel for multiple sports, I purchase gear, I pay TAF fees, I show up to games. My other money goes to my family and child, not a 17year old kid I never met, so he can buy a gold chain and new car. He gets a free tuition, free rent, free food, free clothes, free tutoring, free books, free gym and money to get by. Plus an opportunity to get money from working with companies. And you’re sending him 10K?

I’ll buy some tickets to a few games and my kid a damn jersey to show my support. My arse isn’t writing a check for $10,000 and sending it in.
It’s not like we are even in a bad position. Gordon has us close to bringing in the offensive trifecta of the #1 QB, RB, and WR in this next recruiting class. Does that sound like we are hurting for money??

I love LSU football. Have way better things to spend money on though, than a bunch of pre Madonna football players that will transfer out the next year

The biggest complainer is Nick Saban. He has a shite ton of money.
You’re incorrect.

Anyone opposed to NIL hates capitalism and thus hates America. FACT!

Hope it works and they get some bats next season
