Pereira's career has had a strange trajectory. 6 straight wins before tonight. Not ranked. Relegated to an early prelim fight last time out. Main card tonight.

Would be cool to see poirier win and Conor win so they can have that 4th fight and dustin can make a boatload of money again.

It’s good to have dreams.

But in reality, if Conor win it will be him vs max for that 2nd place belt.

That would be cool.

They said Islam hasn't lost since 2015, how much longer can a streak like that be kept up?

Poirier would have to fight smart, no spamming guillotines against someone as elite as Islam.

If Islam fights him standing up to prove a point about his striking, maybe Poirier has a chance.

Chandler vs. Conor is a must win for Conor. Conor needs a win so bad.

Chandler is gonna take that dive for the company.

Many people thought volk beat Islam. Anything can happen.

As long as he wants at LW. I don’t think anyone (even Arman) can beat him. His biggest challenge is Leon at WW.

I wouldn't kick Amanda Ribas out of my guard.

Honestly, good for him. I was watching the fight thinking about how Smith is kind of average and like an also-ran, and then he pulls off the shocking win. Seemed like it was just a matter of time before Petrino would have knocked him out prior to that.
