I’m not saying this is the move I make but I can see griff making it .
Don’t know about lavine knee issues , he had a broken foot this year that kept him out . But the fact that his acquisition cost will be so low and bulls will be motivated to move him is what makes this a griff play .
I don’t see a situation in which we get a better player than Ingram. For all his flaws , he’s a very good player . The contract issue plus missing games that you don’t like about Lavine is essentially the same story with Ingram - Ingram just fits worse with Zion.
I just don’t see a situation in which griff takes steps back in order to get better.
Griff gets a dynamic offensive player and better fit with Zion and how Pels want to play offensively now plus extra assets that he can use in the future or trade immediately to help - it’s the griffin way .
I realize Lavine isn’t going to get anyone excited bc the contract but strictly talent wise and fit wise offensively I’m not sure there is a better player that will be available when it’s all said and done .
