The same actor who portrayed Luke waaaay back in 1977 was so unimpressed with how the Disney Star Wars folk had written him, he's openly mocked Star Wars.

KK ignored 99% of the SWEU because she didn't want to pay royalties to Lucas. Same reason they all but ignored the OG Star Wars at Galaxy's Edge and The Galactic Starcruiser Hotel.
It's ALL profit driven. How anyone doesn't see this is beyond me. Problem is, the 'imagineers' lack the actual talent to dream up quality stories and characters while so hell bent on inserting they/thems and current day Message, the entire franchise has done a faceplant into the pavement.

Not reading the thread or watching the trailer. But did they do the right thing and make the lead characters lesbians? Preferably played by Melissa Mccarthy and Will Ferrell?
