Can you be more specific? How do your interactions illustrate a massive divide in the American public?

ETA I just took my dog around the block. Saw a neighbor across the street who asked how my kids are. Ran into random jazz fest tourists who saw me smell a flower and asked me what kind of flower it was. I’m just curious as to what someone’s normal demeanor is if their typical interactions are divisive. I can’t help but wonder if there’s a common denominator there.
