Sounds like case closed. It does suck that this piece of shite "pastor" groomed her from childhood and screwed her up so badly she felt this was the only way out. I could definitely see him encouraging her to kill herself.

Is it really a mystery? Quads can’t swim, and he drowned

Poor grammar. The mystery is probably how he ended up in the pool.

Yep. She definitely killed herself.

That JP dude’s life is ruined though. Not that he didn’t deserve it. But people (including me) were 100% sure he killed her.

On another note, it’s crazy how much were under surveillance. They had her every move documented visually except for her time driving from South Carolina to North Carolina.

Maybe legally. I'm not sure what the statutes are in South Carolina.

No doubt. There may be a statue that holds him criminally liable with enough evidence. There was that sociopath high school chick who was found guilty for talking her "friend" into killing himself. Can't remember what the charge was, though.

But I would have to think her family has a decent case for a civil suit for wrongful death if all the emails and phone calls we've read on her are correct. Lower standard. But I don't know the laws of South Carolina.

But--and I'm pro-religion and pro-organized religion for the most part (at least "real" Christianity that preaches the New Testament, especially what Jesus had to say about grace).

Grace is giving something to people that they don't deserve. And it's been a very valuable concept to me as a father to a teenage son. But it's tough to know the right times to give it. You have to be a father and correct your children when they mess up. But sometimes, the best thing to do is show them grace that they may not "deserve," but as the proxy for God in their lives, showing that grace as a Father helps them understand the concept of God's grace that they will hopefully pass on to their children and other people in their lives when appropriate.

But the appropriateness is hard to determine. You can't always be a pushover, a "friend," you have to be a father and can't let just everything go. That's one of the biggest things I've struggled with recently is knowing when to get mad and just saying "this behavior is unacceptable" and trying to understand where they're coming from and showing grace and demonstrating unconditional love. It's a tough balancing act. At least for me right now.

That said, who in the frick can go to this church, listen to this weirdo, clearly sociopathic "pastor," whether he killed his wife or not, and not only keep coming back, but keep pumping money into the "church." He's a fricking horrible human being. How people can't see this is so bizarre to me.

Yeah because single motherhood is something to be celebrated? Since when? Usually single moms are single moms for a reason. Now widows? Widows who lost their husband to armed service or as a first responder. Now that’s a good and worthy cause. But just blanket single mothers? Give me a break. That’s a huge part of the problem in this country. Sounds like the Pastors just wants to be a hero to them so he can get in their pants.

And Jesus said, behold, let us celebrate single moms.

Allegedly there is a diary of the wife's coming out where it says the husband would masturbate on the dog, had gay relations with homeless men, and also forced her to have relations with homeless men while he watched.

That's just what social media is saying so take it with a grain of salt because they were quick to accuse this man of murder too.

I heard that too. There’s zero evidence of it though.

UPDATE: LINK

quote:

The South Carolina pastor whose wife fatally shot herself last month told mourners in a eulogy that he visited her body four separate times — and even tried to “raise her from the dead.”

Mica Miller, 30, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head in Lumber River State Park, NC, on April 27 after she was reportedly heard crying for several minutes.

Her death was casually announced by her husband John-Paul Miller, 44, during a sermon to his congregation at Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach.

Real preachers simply do not talk or act this way. It's evil grifters like this that give organized religion a bad name.

I didn't know Ricky Bobby became a pastor.
