Only it kinda does(on Penning) He was a first round draft pick but is now 25 years old. He’s been in the NFL for multiple years. He’s not some raw freshman in college. He’s a grown man. Can he make some incremental improvements with great coaching and become a league average player, sure but the gap between what he is and his ceiling has shrunk dramatically every year at this point.
None of that matters. His technique was bad in college and he beat up on weaker competition by pure size and athleticism alone. His technique hasn’t improved much at all. Until he fixes his technique he won’t be good in the nfl. The sky is still the limit with him if he can fix his technique. If you watch him play and understand line play that is pretty clear.

I agree he can improve if he fixes his technique, but to say sky is the limit is crazy.
I just don't see it. Hopefully he can at least be serviceable.

Or he just beat up on poor competition and now he's just a fairly athletic dude playing in the NFL with loads of other freaks and he's just a dude
Again he's not some college sophomore that has all the time in the world to learn technique. He's a 3rd year NFL player. That time is rapidly passing and maybe he just won't be a good technician. That has happened WAY more throughout history than guys greatly improve and have new ceiling's where "the sky is the limit" several years into their career.
