Those so-called "innocent civilians" voted for Hamas . When you elect terrorists who start a war, you should expect to be bombed.

You can hate the protestors and also not be pro-Israel
These protestors are just filthy communists using Palestine as a front

Well one of them has to win right? Would you rather take your chances with the Jews or the Palestinian’s and the lunatic trash that supports them?
One of them has to win. I shouldn’t have a gun to my head to work 45 minutes more every day to pay for both sides to decide which.

Say huh? That’s like saying we invaded Afghanistan to conquer it and use it as a military outpost.
If the folks in Gaza was just minding their business and the Israelis busted in.. I’m with you. But they were attacked… viciously.

They really did not start off hating the Jews, hatred of Zionists evolved just over the past century. There's an old Jewish community in Damascus and no one fricks with them, seriously.
Someone attempted to screw with the synagogue there back about 30 years ago and Assad's old man made the participants scarce.

I have a hard time believing Israel's intelligence had zero knowledge of the attacks of Oct 7 2023.
There is a 0.0% chance Israeli intelligence didn't know a terrorist attack was coming, especially when it was of that scale. While I certainly feel sympathy for their citizens who had to endure that savagery, I despise Netanyahu.
"Democracies don't go to war easily. And they usually debate and argue before they do. Sometimes they have to be bombed into going to war."
-Bibi
10/7 was his bombing. While I have zero issue with them killing every Hamas member, I also think Bibi should be hung, because the blood of Israeli civilians is on his hands too.

Ok fine let the Jews bomb the children just stop using my tax dollars to do it.

But please explain to me why I'm supposed to be pro-Israel?
You’ve hit on the core failure of political discourse in the USA at this time.
People have been conditioned to view all things as tribal. My tribe is always right and your tribe is always wrong. Pure identity politics. Trump could rape a girl on the street and his tribe would defend him. A liberal politician could set up government contracts benefiting his brother and democrats would defend him.
It’s ok to disagree with Israel’s tactics without joining Hamas. Conversely, agreeing that Hamas are just terrorists and thugs doesn’t mean you have to idolize Israel. Also, none of those parties are American, and disagreeing with either or both is not anti-American.
An intelligent person can separate the parties and their actions and form reasonable opinions that don’t depend upon fake tribal alliances. You are on the right track.

What about the bombing of 20,000 innocent women and children?? Your tax dollars paid for it.
The same people telling you 20,000 innocent women and children have been killed are the same ones saying no civilians were killed on Oct. 7th. We are supposed to simply ignore the one absurd lie since we have tons of evidence to disprove it but take that 20,000 number as fact since we have no evidence to prove or disprove it?
My tax dollars have paid to bomb women and children all over the world. It isn't new in Israel. The question is whether we believe Israel is deliberately targeting women and children. Has Israel made an effort to avoid killing innocent people or have they directly targeted them like Hamas?

Ok you tell me the numbers! Go find them and let me know. I don’t watch the news so no one is telling me anything. Let me know who’s killing who and let me know who’s paying for it? I need facts. I don’t need “12 innocents were beheaded in 2012 by a group of crazy frickers so therefore we should send billions to bomb the masses for the greater good of Israel”

For decades, Israel has tried to negotiate peace. Palestinians have, for decades, supported killing innocent Jews. Israel has every right to take WHATEVER actions it seems sufficient to protect its citizens.
I agree, they don't need our tax dollars and I don't think they've asked for it.
I don't support any American blood be shed there.
America needs to first get our own problems in check before worrying about other countries.

You don't have to be pro Israel to understand that Hamas is a cancer on the soul of mankind. It needs to be removed and all it's works scrubbed forever. They make the Nazis look civilized.

I support the Jews. The messianic jews. Beautiful, brave people. They have been through hell for being followers of Jesus.
As for the others, when God chose Abram, they didn't exist. He chose a man, not a people. And the bible is full of how they disappointed him.
It's does no good to exonerate a Jew for not following Jesus. He is not exonerated. He faces a choice, just like we all do. Just like the Arab and the Hindu.
And all the Jews who will be saved in the end will be brothers in Jesus. And the others will be lost.
So the Jew is like everyone else. I feel no enmity towards them. But I feel more kinship to the thousand or so Christians caught up in Gaza for whom our government has not lifted a finger.

You are not. You are supposed to be let them take care of their business, without our money or meddling. They are a 1st world country. Let them finish what Hamas started.
