Yea, on almost all HO3 policies in Louisiana, a non-building structure (a building structure is typically defined in the policy as having a roof and walls) is paid out on an actual cash value basis. A repair is not typically deprecated but a replacement is, this is why a repair typically puts more money in the insured's pocket than a replacement even though the homeowner gets pissed that they are getting a repair and not a replacement.
