Set him up a Roth IRA and put some money into it. Also, buy him the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad or another financial education book

Those sort of books are a Great Idea.
Rich Dad Poor Dad is a book I gave to my son in the 7th grade.
It should be a given gift at graduation. I think they have an updated version.
