Beck has been hot on this for years; the 'news' will be so vulnerable or apt to manipulation that all sources which aren't eye witness/first hand accounts will be questionable. If not downright untrustworthy.
Basic Reality is falling apart and will affect human interactions in ways that we can hardly even imagine. I think that the 'Convergence' - of the which Elon predicts in 2030 - will be a pivotal and soul-defining, definitive scenario for all. Embrace 'immortality', or lie as an 'inferior' being, and die, will likely be the choice. I think I'm counting on Jesus and heading to the next life, albeit the Bible does prophecy that a person who is "750 years old, will be young".
