Yes, and it was deliberately portrayed out of context. Here's what he actually said:
Ironically enough, Biden said that Trump's "support for the Neo-Nazis" in Charlottesville was what motivated him to enter the 2020 race.

Y’all sound like morons comparing these two. The only thing that makes them similar is the OP’s title, which is a complete fabrication.
Also, the original Trump quote was taken completely out of context. They excised what Trump said right before which was a crystal clear, no holds barred, condemnation of the white supremacists.
There was nothing wrong with what Trump said back then, and there is nothing wrong with what Biden said.
