Anyone blaming the ATV rider is a cop-loving arse-kisser. Deliberately wrecking the ATV rider should be met with criminal charges and a massive lawsuit.

So be it, frick that ATV driver.

Well I’ve answered post after post after post after asking “what does the law say?”

The law says that someone driving 60+ mph on an ATV, on a road where non-emergency vehicles are not allowed, who fails to avoid hitting a stationary police car, is SOL.

No, you’re desperately trying to shift the argument to something else because there is no valid argument to be made in this specific scenario. But that’s fine, troll away buddy.

Well there is a problem in your graphic. The cop didn’t move from the right to the left lane. He parked diagonally and blocked the entire road.

No, he didn’t.

If that ATV can’t stop for a police cruiser, how’s it gonna stop for a pedestrian?

What the frick does any of this have to do with an ATV hitting a police car?

And, also, what it has to do is, you can take and action to do what you think would save another, and still be in violation of the law.

Uhh. It’s clear on the video. He parked diagonally across the lanes.

Right? That cop deserves a medal. Not to be chastised by a bunch of BLM burnouts on the internet

At 30 seconds in the video it’s plain as day. The right A pillar is in line with the centerline of the road and he is parked diagonally.

Now who is making things up?

Excessive use of force? Or did that cop save lives?

Saved lives, now get his arse on I-10 in NOLA so he can continue the mission.

You said he blocked both lanes.

You made it up. Just stop.

Your boy got hurt. That’s on him.

For asking what the law is?

You’ve been trying to paint the police officer as guilty since your first post in this thread. Stop being such a fricking clown and just come out and say that you hate cops. That’s all this is

bet you'd be singing a whole different tune if that cop had let a vehicle weighing a couple thousand pounds have at your wife and kids.

That’s exactly what I said earlier. If that cop doesn’t do hero shite, and that ATV plows over a crowd of people, these same ‘whole mouth on the water fountain’ people would be here calling out the police for not doing their job.

Crazy times man, people are fricking stupid

He can just copy and paste this over and over if he wants us to be sure of his position

I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops, I hate cops,

Just because a cop witnesses a misdemeanor offense, that doesn’t clear him of wrongdoing to stop it. Name an instance where a cop can just cut in front of another oncoming vehicle suddenly if that vehicle is currently guilty of nothing but a simple traffic infraction.

Lets adjust the scenario very slightly. The cop just came around a blind curve (as you can see in the video). Add a 20+ group of kids (school field trip) huddled in the path on the other side of the blind curve. Cop sees speeding ATV seconds away from the curve and seconds away from the group of kids.

The reality is this was a blind curve, there was a speeding ATV, there were several innocent pedestrians/kids seconds away from very likely death or serious injury.

How in the world can you not see the cop made a split second decision, a undeniably CORRECT split second decision.

You apparently have absolutely NOT read my first posts. I said they were BOTH in the wrong. I haven’t said how much or to what degree. Only that they BOTH were.

Oh and I’ve repeatedly asked “what the law says” and get nothing but “you hate cops!!! Blah blah blah!!!

I really wish the Legislature would pass some sort of Legislation streamlining a ‘choices have consequences’ thought process. This includes the parents / guardians of these feral beings.

This kinda shite on I-10 in NOLA still goes on. These pukes need to grasp the concept rules apply to ALL PARTIES, regardless of race
