At most 10-2/9-3 gives you at-least a shot at the playoffs in the lower seeds, and this team has the talent to achieve that. 2025 is the year for natty discussion.

6 -6 to 8 - 4 is totally out of the discussion for the playoffs.
Right now, we are looking at a defense that will be gashed as bad, if not worse, than last season along with an offense that will take a step backwards.

He is one of the worst posters here and a 99% chance that he’s not an LSU fan.

If the defense did end up as bad or worse than last year this team might be lucky for 6 win season with how difficult the schedule is. Really go back and watch the games. JD was practically unstoppable all year and could just score with the ball in their hands every attempt. There's no way this offense will be that good.

You were looking at a historically bad defense so much so the offense had so much pressure they had to score every drive. This offense may end up being good but there's absolutely no way they can meet that pressure because it's inevitably going to be worse than that offense by default. With an absolutely brutal schedule one of the hardest in the SEC.

I mean I get what he's saying though. I don't know why this board is down on posters talking about the hole at DT. They're right if you have nothing at DT you're in major trouble on defense and there's no way you can scheme around that.

I mean yes, it's negative but it sounds to me like nobody wants to hear the truth. They have absolutely nothing at DT right now. Davis is a great coach but he's not a miracle worker.

Everyone is downvoting you, but you are 100% correct. We have 2nd/3rd strings guys running 1st string and our depth would be 3rd string at best any playoff caliber program.

If we don’t land at least 1-2 quality guys (and it’s not looking likely now) then every team we play including teams like Vandy will have their way with the middle of our defense. Our LBers will look so bad because they’re getting blocked down field by 300+lb linemen.

If we go into the season without adding any more DTs, then you might have an argument. It’s not that time yet.

The downvoters in here are awful and delusional. Like other people are pointing out. The D Line isn’t just bad, it’s terrible. BK has had three years to bring in talent at that position. With an offense losing so much production and that d line… it’s not good. It seems the positigers think Bo Davis is just going to shite out great lineman.

Same defensive issues

Lose 3 1st rounders from the offense

6-6/7-5 is very realistic

BK has no excuse for the defensive personnel to be this bad in year 3. It could cost him his job if it’s not better in year 4

You must have forgotten how insanely bad last years defense was.

I'd be okay with the positivity if we had something to be more positive over. The only thing I can say positive is some of the young guys look like they have potential but can you really rely on inexperience there? You can't really expect true freshman to come in and dominate. It happens but it's not common.

All you can do is look at what's on paper and see what your eyes tell you in spring and right now it doesn't look good. Time to panic? No. Wait until the portal hunt is over. Right now though? Nothing to be positive about. They looked bad in spring. Washington looks like he needs an entire year of conditioning based on spring. I didn't even know Lee was still on the roster until I saw the depth chart in spring. The guy they got in the portal is a depth piece at best to give your DL a breather which depth wise right now they're relying on walk-ons.
