Largely, I don't care. I'm still in an unincorporated area and as yet have seen no impact pro nor con (and doubt I will).

If I had to make a stand beyond "meh" it would be "good for them". This all started with people being dissatisfied with the direction the EBR public school system was going and how the government in BR was turning deaf ears to their issues. Their options were to just give up and accept failing schools or incorporate into their own entity to create their own school district and administrative system, they chose the latter.

With that, the fault that this has happened lies completely with the unresponsive bureaucracy operating in Baton Rouge. Blaming people for trying to fix an issue instead of those who caused the issue is as ridiculous an endeavor as it is useless.
