You are conflating the two issues of sin and living in sin. The issue is openly flaunting it and living in sin, not sin. We all are sinners but to live it openly and flaunt it without repentance is completely different. Repentance is a change of mind and heart that leads to a change in our action and behavior.

So fat people, openly living in and flaunting their sin?

According to Roman Catholic theology, Yes. Sloth and gluttony (which lead to obesity) are 2 of the 7 deadly sins. I am not catholic but obesity is currently an epidemic in our country and Louisiana is leading the charge. There are verses in the bible concerning obesity. I also dont believe you have to be religious to have a fundamental understanding that being fat is bad. Is there some nuance to this? Sure, but the prevalence of actual medical conditions are infinitesimal compared to people just not putting the fork down and moving more, ie exercising.
