I'm not religious personally, but to say they're "living in sin this way" seems hypocritical. Isn't everyone living in sin to some extent according to most religions? I'm closing in on 40, and as far as I've been able to tell, gay people are pretty much born that way for the most part.
You are conflating the two issues of sin and living in sin. The issue is openly flaunting it and living in sin, not sin. We all are sinners but to live it openly and flaunt it without repentance is completely different.
Repentance is a change of mind and heart that leads to a change in our action and behavior.

Agreed - all who sit in the pews at our Church absolutely are sinners. However, I believe that most of us ask for forgiveness for their individual sins from God.

So fat people, openly living in and flaunting their sin?

Makes sense if you're a believer. Everything you are saying requires a belief in those tenets, so I guess that's where we differ.

There was a thread here recently about sex for fun vs. sex for procreation. Are we saying that every married preacher (Baptist, Episcopalian, Methodist, etc) only has sex for procreation purposes and never for enjoyment? B/c if they do... they are living in sin according to many people's beliefs.
What about fat priests/preachers?
Coonasses are kinda screwed with the whole shellfish which is in Leviticus not far from all the gay talk.

100%
That said, I don't know a single person who even attempts to follow every rule laid out in scripture. So I might not agree personally, but I'm also not going to be in the business of deciding for other people which verses are worth adhering to and which aren't.
