Up to 75 pitches and 6 innings today. Seems like a lock for a June call up at this pace.

Ive seen the pirates pitching this year..and he might already be their best pitcher.
Baseball is so weird that you have to spend a couple months of even years in the minor leagues to make it to the big leagues

The guy needs to be in MLB. I don't know what the Pirates are doing. He has nothing left to prove in the minors. Fire the bullets with the big club.

Wow you can tell sports aren’t going well at LSU by the amount of Skenes circle jerk threads.

How long do they have to keep him down there in order to get the extra year?

IMO with pitchers' lifespans varying so bigly the Pirates should just throw normal "strategy" out the window and let the kid eat in the bigs. He seems like the type of guy who'd appreciate that and would repay them with a sense of loyalty down the road despite them "losing" a year contractually.

Prob had his worst start yet today. His ERA has skyrocketed up to 0.99

He went 4 1/3, 2 runs, 3 hits, 2 walks, 4K

Interestingly he only threw 66 pitches. You would imagine Pitt would be trying to extend his pitch count each start like they had been doing and call him up once he’s been around 90-100 pitches

So a little strange he threw less pitches than last outing. Obviously could be a reason why…I’m just looking at box score
