1. McCoy ain’t moving to guard. Word is he threw a bitch FIT when they drafted Ruiz who, in his own words, was “born to play center” and refused to move to accommodate it, which led to an awful transition that’s still decent at best

2. Penning’s problem is dealing with quickness so you’re going to put him inside, the quickest route to destroying your QB? Just don’t SEE it. Keep him outside when his athleticism gives him a fighting chance

New OL coach will have fresh slate with everyone.

If they do bring back Peat the team should have six starters to find five in Fugua, Ramczyk, Peat, Ruiz, McCoy, and Penning

You don't think NFL DEs/Edge rushers are quick? So you're going to put him on an island outside and say "block this guy without any help?" The Saints did that in the first game of the season last year. He made Arden Key look like Derrick Thomas. At least if he is inside he can have a bit more help.

Slow guys in a lot of open space vs quick guys is a BAD matchup. He may suck at guard too. But at least you can do more to help him there.

This post is very confusing and contradictory.

Lack of athleticism and bad technique are what’s making him a terrible tackle. It’s easier NOT harder to pass protect at guard compared to tackle. You have help on both sides, and you’re playing against bigger, slower players.
