LSU was also a Spread pass first team trying to do the “Joe Brady” Offense while Michigan state was a run first oriented team led by Kenneth Walker, Coleman probably puts up similar numbers if he’s in LSU offense.

Michigan St 30.8 passes per game
LSU 34.2 carries per game
Michigan St 36.8 carries per game
The thing was, Bech was better than Koleman as freshman. Part of it could be due to basketball and part of it could be due to Bech being more polished.
