I bought a Speed Queen Washer and Dryer. Must be a good product to include 7yr warranty.

TR7003BN

$3300 with tax but $200 rebate. Little expensive but they supposed to last 25 years.

There's no other point to this thread unless someone wants to convince me to cancel my purchase.

I think our 15 year old speed queen washer could survive a direct hit from a nuke

10 year on mine, but the set was more.

No issues in 4+ years.

Ours have been solid, no issues. We didn't pay 3k though. They were about 1k each. We got the most basic models, less shite to break.

I've had the same GE washer and dryer for like 35 years.
Got them cheap because they got dented up in shipping.

I paid $2,952 with tax in January 2023. Is there anything that hasn't increased significantly in pricing??!!?

My daughter does the laundry and tries to put two loads in one. If she can’t break it, it won’t be broken. Speed Queen is the shite!!!

That kind of $$$ they are just pricing into the cost an extended warranty

Fine if that makes you think a 7 year warranty is a better product

For those who are considering a Speed Queen, of course it's a high quality washer, but one far less expensive alternative is to find someone who sells old school washers that have a rebuilt transmission, new clutch, etc.

My old Kenmore finally gave way after almost 20 years of great service (and it was probably 10 years old when I bought it secondhand).

I figured let's get another Kenmore (just serviced like above) that was built in 2004 or so, and it cost less than $350 delivered, so it's something to consider.

Speed Queen is by far head and shoulders above all other brands.
