This is the only coherent, logical response.
It is an unfortunate circumstance, but there really isn't any negotiating with absolute terrorists who want you eradicated from the face of the Earth.

What it would prove is Hamas’ use of Palestinian Gazan Arabs as human shields. These are the same Palestinian Gazan Arabs who voted overwhelmingly for Hamas and supports overwhelmingly the elimination of Israel.

I hate to sound cold.. Well, no I really don't hate to sound cold I was saying that just to not make me sound like a complete arse, but am I the only one who don't give a single frick about what's going on in Israel & Palestine?
Look, I get it, civilians have been killed and that sucks an all, but what can any of us do about it? All of these idiots protesting in the US over this like its going to make a difference.
Oh its an election year... all of a sudden we all need to give a frick about Israel & Palestine. If I could do something to help, then sure.. I would care and do what I can, but there is absolutely nothing I can do. I care about how much the US gets involved and I think that tiktok bill, if approved, is a sneaky way to send more money to Ukraine and Israel, but I care as much as I did on October 6th. I wouldn't mind see Palestine get wiped out, but...

I’m not sure how anyone can watch that video and not understand why the Israeli government finally had enough.
Hamas follows a radical religion conceived in violence that justifies the brutal killing of non believers by any means possible. When up against such barbarism, you have the play the game to match the rules of your enemy. The can’t be reasoned with.
The Israel’s understand this better than most and are fighting to preserve their country. Hamas wants to kill them all. When confronted with unmitigated evil, the response must be proportionate without sacrificing the moral high ground.

The protestors don't understand war (and/or they don't want to understand it).
They are the "even Steven" crowd. Hamas does A, Israel's response has to be similar in scope to A. It will never be "your elected group committed a terrorist attack on civilians and now you are going to get the arse kicking of a lifetime." Hamas is even still engaging in terrorism against civilians by holding the hostages.

Both are in the wrong. Hamas, obviously, is substantially more in the wrong than Israel, however. Israel didn't ask for this. Hamas invaded them and did some of the most vile, heinous, cruel, and barbaric things imaginable. Israel, in response, is not fricking around. Sadly, Israel can't pinpoint strictly Hamas activists and supporters with flawless precision and accuracy. We also know that Hamas uses innocent civilians as shields and purposefully "camps out" in bunkers of schools, hospitals, and the like. Israel is going to have "blood on its hands" due to that, but Israel's response is justifiable.
