remember not thinking much of it the first time I watched it. Then, after watching it again, I realized how incredible it is.
Most Ferrell movies are like that. But this one is probably at the top of the list of getting significantly funnier every time you watch it.
"We found your stolen Prius, it was voting for Ralph Nader."
"Listen guys, I've got two jobs. I work here, and I have another job at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I'm doing it to put a kid through NYU, so he can explore his bisexuality and become a DJ."
The ENTIRE scene where they are trying to talk David Wallace from The Office from jumping off the ledge of the building! Ferrell using the bull horn from the ice cream truck to talk to him while the ice cream music plays in the background. Ferrell telling Wallace "I have to be honest with you. People down here are starting to murmur that you don't have the balls to do it." Ferrell indiscriminately blowing the rape whistle after Wallace jumps. Complete chaos

I find Ferrell best in small doses. Like when his movies are on, I'll watch 30 minutes here, 15 minutes the next time it's on but a different part of the movie - hard for me to sit through a full film of him in one sitting for me as it starts to get old for me, but I can enjoy the short exposure and enjoy it much more.
it's not like you have to follow the plot or story in any of his movies so I'm really not missing much watching it that way.
