I completely forgot that the name my friends and I had for our intermural teams back in the day was Dirty Mike and the Boys.

Michael Keaton is the reason I love that movie so much. The rest is great too, but he knocks his character out of the park.

How?
I guess the plot is relatively useless, but I couldn’t care less

I have a small apartment. No one knows about it. I use it mainly for my parents and prostitutes. Not at the same time. That would be wrong.

Ridiculous amount of good lines in that movie

there are also a ton of good visual gags.

There is a scene with Michael Keaton on the phone and he’s absent minded holding a revolver and like it slips and he drops it on the desk.

it’s hilarious

One of my favorite bits was when they are in Vegas they went to get Vegas T Shirts and they both have Yard Dogs before they called Captain Gene.

And then when they get out of the airport van:

How many times have I explicitly told you, lay off Ershon?

Terry, how many times has Captain told us to stay off the Ershon case?

Twice.

Terry says twice, I agree

"You feel that? That tingling in your balls?"

remember not thinking much of it the first time I watched it. Then, after watching it again, I realized how incredible it is.

Most Ferrell movies are like that. But this one is probably at the top of the list of getting significantly funnier every time you watch it.

"We found your stolen Prius, it was voting for Ralph Nader."

"Listen guys, I've got two jobs. I work here, and I have another job at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I'm doing it to put a kid through NYU, so he can explore his bisexuality and become a DJ."

The ENTIRE scene where they are trying to talk David Wallace from The Office from jumping off the ledge of the building! Ferrell using the bull horn from the ice cream truck to talk to him while the ice cream music plays in the background. Ferrell telling Wallace "I have to be honest with you. People down here are starting to murmur that you don't have the balls to do it." Ferrell indiscriminately blowing the rape whistle after Wallace jumps. Complete chaos

I like it way more than Anchorman. I think Anchorman has aged a little on the poor side.

I saw Ferrell, Wahlberg, McKay, and Mendes do a panel at Comic Con promoting the movie. 45 minutes of Ferrell riffing, while Mendes laughed and Wahlberg threw occasional straight lines at him. Ferrell continuously dared the audience to fight him, while McKay warned everyone, "He's serious, when he gets like this we can't stop him." It was glorious.

Watching now. Hidden gem. Cuts to Rob Riggle in the car with no context:

Also the bad guy took a gummy of blow off the hood of the Prius
