I use a lodge cast iron grill topper. It's a pain to clean, though. I usually try to burn everything off of it. Every now and then I pressure wash it then reseason.

As mentioned, carbon steel works too, but just use a cast iron or carbon steel pan on top of the grill. Use stuff you already have. Carbon steel is obviously going to be easier to move the veggies around without a utensil.
