It's hard to consider them the best at anything because they got swept so bad. But the 2014 60 win Hawks team got swept by Lebron in the ECF.

1954 World Series. New York Giants sweep Cleveland Indians 4-0.

The Indians finished the regular season 111-43, the all-time winning percentage in the American League.

2004-2005 Astros swept by the White Sox with Clemens, Oswalt, and Pettitte (all of which had a less than a 3.00 ERA). You would expect them to win at least one game with this rotation.

2019 Lightning tied the record for most wins in a season at the time and were swept in the first round.

CBJ were down 3-0 after the first period in game 1 too (and came back to win game 1 4-3).

I’m trying to imagine what live odds you could’ve gotten of the CBJ winning the series in a sweep at the end of that game 1 first period. +10000?

1-year after losing to the Rockets they finished with a better record 60-22. Epic rematch with the Bulls was offset by injuries (I think Penny and Horace Grant). Probably would’ve lost to Bulls regardless but wouldn’t have been a sweep. Shaq was out of town shortly after.

Thread inspired by this epic Suns choke job

They didn’t choke. They got thoroughly outplayed by a deeper more well rounded team.

The suns have 3 super stars with redundant skill sets and are all iso scorers. They have nothing else, no other players to round the out. Don’t even have a point guard.

Beal isn’t a super star. And what a choke job by him last night had 9 points and got cooked by Ant in the 4th. Without a doubt the worst contract in the league. Suns are so screwed.

Tampa lightning got swept by Columbus in 2019.

Tampa was the best team in the NHL.

The ball movement on that 2011 Dallas team was sublime. That was a gorgeous playoff run to watch. Dirk was unconscious.

You don’t know basketball. Watch the game instead of just looking at the box score.

McDaniels made booker and Beal pedestrian

The wolves number 1 defense fricked the suns up. McDaniels held booker and Beal to 23% shooting when guarding them.

Best defense in basketball

And yeah ant cooked them. The suns don’t have an elite perimeter defender.

They were thoroughly outclassed in every facet of the game for 4 games. They didn’t choke, they just weren’t as good.

The sixth highest paid player in the league isn't suposed to get locked down by McDaniels and shoot 23%. That wasn't even attack on the TWolves, but your fragile ego took it as a shot I guess in some weird way. Stay in your lane and enjoy your first sweep in TWolves history.
