We've ordered from there for a few business lunches. Meh.

I feel like Newk’s, Schlotzky’s, McAlister’s and Jason’s Deli are all the same thing.

Had one in LC for a few months. I went several times because the property owner are friends of the family and they had invested quite a bit in the build to suit. It was very Ok. A little like prepackaged almost fast food but priced a little high for what it was.

Newk’s is really simple.

Newk’s Q
Half Caesar
Rice Krispie for the road

This is the formula. It never disappoints.

It's really more of a sandwich shop that has pizza as an option (for some reason). It would be like going to Pizza Hut and bitching about their chicken wings. Yes they are on the menu. But if I want chicken wings I'm probably not going to Pizza Hut expecting the best wings in town.

I get your point, but Pizza Hut’s wings are surprisingly good

Newks Q is great but I’m pissed they got rid of chicken tortilla soup

I’d rather go to McDonalds than eat at these garbage faux deli chains

Newk's is entry-level nursing home food for people who still have teeth.

I honestly didn't think they were still open. I don't know that I've ever heard anyone talk about going there.

Newks Q is a great sandwich also the the chicken salad. Also have great salads. If you want pizza, go to a real pizza joint but otherwise tasty food.

We ate at the one in Shreveport pretty frequently when it first opened. Fresh food, good portions, decently priced.

My mom took me to lunch there a couple of weeks ago, and the amount of roast beef on my French Dip was laughable. Still tasted good, but the sandwich was all bread.
