Depends on who you ask.
I’ve never heard my mother say she was proud of me.
My dad on the other hand, will never let me forget how proud I’ve made him.
The real question, are you proud of yourself?
Even more real, are you proud of the children you’ve raised?

Isn't it the best feeling when you are.?
My little guy is the sweetest soul in the world and is smart as can be. His teacher sends home great notes saying what a joy he is, he gets good behavior reports from school. The other day I picked him up and was just asking about his day like normal and he then was like "how was your day mom". I thought it was just so cute that he actually cared. And the other day he wanted to call his grandma. When she answered he was just like I wanted to see how your day is going. Thats great for a 6 year old. Make me proud every day.
