Great player in a major slump in the field and at the plate. Hate to see it for such a great player in her senior year. Really hope she can shake out of it and finish strong.

Guess it’s the first base coaches fault, Beth benched him lol.
Taylor as of late has become a liability

I have generally been a defender of Torina the last couple of years and have cautioned against making hasty decisions, but this is emblematic of an issue that has become a recurring theme and cannot be ignored. LSU’s best players have routinely regressed in their last season or two. Sunseri regressed both at the plate and on the mound. Wickersham regressed on the mound and Kilponen at a minimum did not take the next step. Georgia Clark regressed her senior year. I still would reserve judgment until the season is over, but if this turns into another disappointing finish because players regressed, then it may be time to move on.
