re: What’s the craziest story you’ve heard of a couple breaking up?

Worked with a woman from a family of farmers outside of Manhattan Kansas whose brother married a woman from Australia, only the wife wasn't actually from Australia, she was from Kansas and had never been to Australia. That precipitated the break-up.

Took a few years for them to find out, I guess Kansas farmers don't tend to have the best fake Aussie accent discernment skills.
