B+. No reaches, no borrowing from next year's picks, addressed needs. No 3rd or 4th makes an A impossible.

I mean, it doesn't really matter, but I think you grade a draft based solely on the picks you had. What did you do with what you had. And I think we did about as well as possible. Of course teams that made 9 or 10 picks with multiple 1st or 2nd rounders are gonna look good at the time. But not all those dudes are making the team. But again, it doesn't really matter. You can grade a draft on whatever criteria you want.

This, solid B. 1st 2 picks are really good…..Fuaga is pretty nasty and has a lot of experience in the wide zone. If we were going to draft a corner…I wanted either Cooper or Kool-Aid, so I’m happy with that pick as well.

I could have done without the Rattler pick, never been impressed by his game, but with a 5th you may as well take a chance. Depth would have been nice at some other positions, but a lot of 5ths never pan out so…..
Rattler definitely has some physical traits that could be intriguing so it’s worth the pick I guess.

I’m like you though…..can’t give an A with no 3rd. Picks in that round are valuable IMO, but at least they didn’t mortgage anything this year. I can’t believe they resisted doing something stupid.

I am curious to see what happens now with Latt now though. TBH, I rather him here…..but it wouldn’t kill me if he’s gone. He misses quite a few games every year and the secondary seems to function pretty well without him. Especially now with getting Kool-Aid

That's where I'm at, too.

I would give A's to the individual picks, as they all seem to be good value with upside (lone exception to me might be the LB from Texas, but he seems like a ST lock).

But like you said, we're missing the meat of the draft. Most teams pick up starters in the 1st, often the 2nd. When you get a couple from the 3rd and 4th, is when you get an A.
