Two questions. When is the new season of rings power coming back? It’s been two fricking years.
Also. Why did the elves not send more troops to help the men? The barely send any at the battle of helms deep and then at minas tirith (sp) they send none.

The Elves had long ago given up on Men, they also were leaving Middle Earth so there weren't that many to send

Not to get all nerd here...
No battalion of elves were at Helms Deep in the books. This was license by the creative team.
By the time if the Battle of the Pelennor Fields/Siege of Minas Tirith, Lorien (Galadriel/Celeborn) was battling forces from Dol Guldur and Rivendell was aiding them (and fighting orcs/goblins from the Misty Mountains)
