If you squint hard enough, you can kind of make out a solid roster but the saints need to draw an inside straight of luck and development to realize it.
CB and LB seem like the best position groups at the moment and hopefully will be a real strength of the team.
That OL still looks like a complete disaster. Absolutely need to add another veteran or two.
Everything else feels very average but with some hope.
Kendre Miller and Kamara could maybe be a plus duo, but miller hasn’t shown anything and Kamara is on the decline
The WR room needs a third guy. Maybe AT or means can be that guy, but right now this group looks average when healthy with no red zone targets.
TE has a nice player in Johnson with some serviceable depth but can’t call this group a strength.
DL seems average, with chance to be a plus unit if Bresee takes a big step and either Turner or Young stay healthy.
Safety is tough to say because I think you’ll see some of kool aid and Taylor in that group. I think a Safety needs to be added.
The only QB on the team that can win games next year is Carr.
7.5 - 8.0 feels like the correct over under for this roster playing in a still weak division.
