I buy the cheapest 55” TV I can find for my poolside patio. My 12 year, 3 TV experience, is that the cover extends the life of the TV by about 2 years on average. It also keeps the mud daubers off the back. I vote cover. Don’t spend money on an “outdoor” tv.
