Very few tv channels, no internet, no social media, no cell phone. It was much easier then to be a kid.

I grew up in the 80’s in Central. We rode bikes, had dirt wars, played baseball, fished in Simple Simon’s pond , and shot basketball all the time. A trip to Cortana was a big deal and if we were lucky we’d go to Chi Chi’s afterwards.
We shopped at Winn Dixie and TG&Y in Central. If we got a movie at SR video that was a big deal. I remember waiting by the window every night for my dad to come home from work. Miss him and those days. It was a great time to be a kid.
