He is hitting .167 in SEC play and .217 for season overall. neither is what you need out of a starter and especially a leadoff hiitter. The reason you use SEC stats is the conference is where the team needs to perform to go anywheres and in regionals and super regionals they are going to be facing SEC level pitchers or better not Southern or Southeastern level pitching. But go ahead and explain how hitting .167 is a good thing..for LSU not the opposition.

And he’s hitting around .300 the last month. You just made my point for me

I’m explaining to you how he’s played better, because he has, much better in fact. But you don’t want to hear about that. You’ve made that abundantly clear in multiple threads.

Maybe just explain to us again what his season long batting average is again. It should really drive your point home this time.

Rudy, it is kind of funny that you think how someone hit or played in March matters right now lol.

do you think Jay cares right now if Kling did not get a hit vs Miss St, Florida or Arkansas ?

or do you think he cares that he has hit .250/.382/.429 over the last 3 SEC series and is playing good defense?

Some of you truly have no idea how baseball works. It's hilarious
