The student loan game is a grift anyway. The universities get rich off it with the acquiescence of state legislators for state schools.

2008 bank bail out set the precedent and the GOPe was complicit with the bailout. That bailout exposed the treatment of the haves and have nots, it was wrong, but set the table.
