Yeah, not sure where that map is from (or when it would be dated) but it is incorrect in many areas:
-- Indonesia was Dutch
-- Other part of the Congo was Belgian, not British
-- British Guiana was their only holding in South America
-- Germany had several colonies in Africa
This is probably a better representation of the extent of the British empire over time:
