Ha, good luck...
I've commented several times that there is no company in south Louisiana that really gives a shite about quality dirt, compost, sand, soil, etc.

In places like Texas and Georgia they'll pre mix a beautiful 70/30 ratio or whatever you want. You'll pay for it, but at least its available.

Here, Cleggs recommends dumping river shite, excuse me, silt, into your lawn.

This is what we need.

I've called before and they said they don't recommend doing topsoil but instead (as you said) river silt and only when they have it available. I don't understand why?

Also, isn't river silt completely different than compost?
