This x 1000, but Mayor Broome is either too ignorant or too stupid to realize this. EBR is losing population to surrounding parishes (mainly Livingston and Ascension, but also to W. Feliciana and Tangipahoa). You would figure our M-P would support something that could keep, and possibly attract, new residents to the parish.

She doesn’t care.
She would rather control the budget of a smaller parish than share money with other cities in a larger parish.
