I wasn't clear in my post. I was referring to the formation of the school districts (not incorporation of the actual cities).

I hope that the taxpayers in the impacted area are ready for the tax increases that they are going to be hit with to pay for the legacy costs for teachers from EBR (and more revenue to assume costs to operate the schools), formation of a city council, the likely formation of a city court, costs to pay for new city employees, etc.

I bought a home in St. George after the 2019 vote to incorporate, and I've been following this issue the entire time. The only thing I can do, at this time, is ensure to not vote for any new millages.

It's never a conservative principle to want to create more government and increase taxes, and that's all the formation of this city has caused.
