I didnt say that. I said BR students may not be able to attend Woodlawn's magnet program since StG is its own city now. As of right now, there are kids from all over BR thats attending WHS who doesnt stay in the district because of the magnet program. When StG gets its own school system, I'm sure that will stop.

That’s just wrong. If a family lives in the EBR district then their children can go to EBR schools.
Currently all kids that live in SG also live in the EBR district unless there are rare exceptions.

They probably won't start working on a plan until August at the earliest. They have to set boundaries, transfer the debt (for construction and pensions), elect a school board, and hire administrators and staff. Give it another two years after a plan is set. I wouldn't expect a new St. George ISD until the 2025-26 school year at the EARLIEST, probably 26-27.
