As a non-Louisiana resident, are the circumstances of St. George completely unique? Or are there other similar areas across the state that may incorporate in response?

Actually Central already did what St George wanted to do.

The circumstances in EBR probably are different in that we have a different plan of government than all the other parishes except I believe Lafayette Parish. It’s a consolidated City-Parish plan.

there are some other examples in the Baton Rouge area that weren’t an issue

the unique thing here is that democrats personally sued to prevent it.
