If you order a medium and get bloody and anyone in the place is even remotely difficult or unhelpful, you should leave immediately, and never come back, because that place is employing literal clowns, in makeup, and squirting flowers pinned to their lapels, to cook your food, because that's the easiest fix in the world.

And with overcooked, yeah, it sucks to waste meat, but your order is demonstrably, visually, incorrect. That's not the same as sending it back for being "visually unappealing" or something (which also wouldn't get your food fricked with at any decent place).

If I distrusted a place, to the point that I worried their staff would rub my food on their nuts, in a case where I was clearly justified and correct, I wouldn't eat there at all. Because a place with a kitchen like that has already fricked your food up, 12 ways from Sunday, and in far more hazardous ways, before you even walked in the door. You don't trust them to not jizz in your Alfredo but you do trust them to follow basic food handling and sanitation procedures?

Which is also why I don't eat fast food.
