know a guy that pulled two GatorTail boats to either Portland ,Oregon or Seattle,Washington with his F-250

Interesting that he made it considering it’s illegal in both Oregon and Washington.

It also mandatory that ALL boats entering either state from any direction must stop at a state inspection station that is open 24-7-365 and manned 24 hours a day. They will pressure washer your hull for free. That being said it is entirely possible to go through those checks without any concerns...when I say manned I mean manned by a young state employee who is probably making about $30K a year and, while always incredible friendly, probably not the most knowledgeable person about what is and isn't legal. I have seen this inspection stations in some really remote locations on state highways...they are about as serious about this program in the PNW as a state gets about anything. They do, from time to time, find things like expired tags and non-working lights during these inspections. Something as glaring as two trailers being towed would most likely cause some comment.
