I thankfully didn't at all.... the Lourve is massive...so massive its truley impossible to see all of it in 1 day.... we made the mistake or I guess good love of actually looking at all the exhibits snd thinking we'd just happen on the Mona lisa...we eventually heard over the loud speaker the museum was closing in 5 minutes... we were still at that point about a 5 minute jog away from it...made it as they were closing the exhibit...they let us out of breath in for a second to snap a pic, but we were basically alone.

we went directly to the Mona Lisa, just to sorta get it out of the way, and we waited for about 10 minutes from the back of the line to the front row for the best pictures....

and yes, the Louvre is way too big to see all in one day... i'd estimate we saw maybe 10% of it, since after the Mona Lisa my 11 and 7 year olds were "done" with the whole thing
