Well if you think about it from the time it happened it makes a little sense. I have a hard time believing that data doesn't exist anywhere BUT we obviously didn't want the Soviets or others to go to the moon even though we beat them and given the espionage climate at the time the best way to be sure helpful data didn't fall into their hands would be for there to be no data at all
