Sounds great until I start thinking about all the dirt and junk in the water from boiling the crawfish.

I had boiled then grilled pork ribs before. I remember them being tasty

You mean, the same water that the crawfish were soaking in that you already ate?

you are overthinking this, if you want the crawfish boil flavor then marinate the butt in a bag with the boil seasoning you like, then bake it as normal.

trying to boil it is gonna make the meat tough

and you cant do the butt first because all that grease will mess with the crawfish flavor, so it has to be done separately with new water
